Name copyright pending. Avash has a fist fight scheduled with the Crash Bandicoot game developers on Monday. He's scrappy, but there's a lot of them. So we'll see.

Who are we? Well, we make software. In one specific area? No, we do it all. We are on the cusp of graduation from Augustana College, and plan to use that potential energy to drive into our projects with force and vigor.

Stay tuned, kids. We've got some real cool stuff on the way.

Oh, I'm sorry, is that title too LONG for you? BOO HOO. Did it WASTE so much of your PRECIOUS TIME with its OBNOXIOUS pop culture reference and OVERLY EXTENDED parenthetical? If you can't find an item in this search system, there's a chance it just doesn't exist. Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Firebase

I'm a sucker for a cliche blog post name. So sue me. Team Bandicoot has hit the ground running. Which if you are familiar with the anatomy of bandicoots, is tough. They have tiny little legs. Anyhoo: STEP 1 - The profiles Augie Marketplace will boast an easy to set up and maintain profile system, providing security to our users, while still allowing them to link up with other students of interest. For this purpose we will be using Firebase, which utilizes a Realtime Database system.  First and foremost, ol' Augustana College loves their google platforms. Everything we do here in Rock'nRoll Island is based off a school issued email and password. It is essential that Augie marketplace can be accessed in the same way.  So even before we attack the Firebase Database system to achieve real-time syncing  between our clients, Avash "Firebase Face" Shrestha is working through a google sign in system so we can keep those Augie students happy and comf...

The Great Augie Marketplace

With the world watching Team Bandicooot on the edge of their seats, it's been tough to dig through our idea notebooks, searching for that one software concept to rule them all. At long last, however, we believe we have found the application that will take the Augustana community by storm, and vastly improve the student experience at our wee liberal arts college. Introducing.... The next... BIG... THING! (Cue confetti cannons and fireworks, release box of doves, fire off a 21 gun salute to Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now") I asked for all of that to be in the budget, but Avash shut me down. THE AUGIE MARKETPLACE! An intuitive, easy to use marketplace app, making the buying/selling of goods at Augustana College stress free. Team Bandicoot sat down and wrapped about what bothers us about going to school at Augustana. By and large, the most passionate response was the distaste for the augie book buyback process.
